Aquamatic introduces the 'all new' Pressurised Pipeline Interface |
| August 2009 |
Further enhancing the flexibility of its well established Aquacell Wastewater Sampler range, Aquamatic has now introduced the excellent ‘all new’ Pressurised Pipeline Interface.
Working alongside any of the Aquacell Wastewater Samplers, the new Aquamatic Pressurised Pipeline Interface provides the perfect solution for sampling effluent from a pressurised source. Once installed the Pressurised Pipeline Interface elegantly extracts a volume of effluent from a pressurised source (upto 6 BAR) and presents it to the Aquacell Sampling Module. The Sampling Module will then extract a sample shot (volume defined by the user) from this collected volume in its standard, time honoured way.
Providing an Interface device between the Sampler and the effluent source, rather than developing a whole new Sampler model, provides customers with all of the familiar functionality and performance of the Aquacell sampler, plus the ability to extract accurate, reliable and representative wastewater samples from their pressurised pipelines.
< S300 Series Pressurised Pipeline Interface shown with S320H incorporating optional Sampler Inspection Window
The Pressurised Pipeline Interface combined with any of the MCERTS compliant Aquacell Wastewater Samplers gives Aquamatic customers the following features: • Uncompromised Aquacell Sampling Module performance* • Pneumatically operated diaphragm valves providing excellent blockage resistance, and exceptional tolerance to solids • Accurate and reliable sampling from pipelines up to 6 Bar in pressure • Choice of operation mode, Time, Flow or Event • Time / Date start and stop of sampling routines • User definable sample shot volume (50ml - 300ml) • Indoor or outdoor operation
Install, switch on and start sampling! A criticism often pitched against pressurised pipeline samplers is the complexity of installation and setup. With the Aquamatic Pressurised Pipeline Interface installation and setup are quick and easy. As always with Aquamatic, professional and friendly support is available throughout the whole customer experience, from initial consultation to onsite commissioning, operational training and ongoing maintenance.
The Pressurised Pipeline Interface is offered in two formats, ‘Standard’ and ‘S300 Series’. The Standard option can used with the Aquacell S50, S100, S200 and all Portable units, and is offered as a wall mounted unit. The S300 Series Pressurised Pipeline Interface is conveniently mounted onto the right hand side of any of the four Aquacell S300 Series models and can even be plumbed into the optional S300 Wastewater Drain.

Demand for maintenance soars as Aquamatic report 20% increase in service packages |
| April 2006 |
The water industry’s increasing keenness for true, long term equipment reliability has been highlighted by Wastewater Sampler Manufacturer Aquamatic, who report a 20% increase in business during the past 12 months for its maintenance division; the third consecutive year of growth.
According to the Manchester firm, the boom in customers requiring service packages is also due in part to the industry’s enhanced understanding of the benefits that a well maintained Wastewater Sampler can bring.
Aquamatic’s Managing Director, Jeremy Smith explained: “Our Wastewater Samplers have become an increasingly critical piece of plant equipment. They can make a world of difference to operational efficiency, effluent costs and potential reputation-damaging fines”.
He added: “The trend towards preventative maintenance provides peace of mind and accurate cost budgeting. Who better to provide this service than us, the manufacturer. It makes perfect sense”. Fresh from signing two new maintenance contracts with its major water company customers, Smith reports that most wastewater sampler users opt for a minimum of twice per year equipment service, depending on the frequency and nature of the sampling application.
Aquamatic’s growth in this area also reflects the increasing demand for maintenance to be included as part of the package when customers purchase samplers from the company’s comprehensive range – all of which is MCERTS approved. The range includes the new S300 Stationary Wastewater Sampler Series, capable of housing a wide range of single and multiple container configurations in its large, fully insulated, refrigerated lower compartment.

Aquamatic Wastewater Sampler is just the right ingredient for Cereform |
| October 2005 |
Cereform, the market leader in ingredients for the baking industry, has introduced an MCERTS-approved Wastewater Sampler from Aquamatic to help it maintain high environmental standards and reduce its effluent costs.
Part of AB Mauri, a division of Associated British Foods plc, Cereform find ingredients and technical solutions for bakers, utilising considerable volumes of water in the process of making dough conditioners, cake mixes, donuts, icings and soya.
Wastewater samples are collected automatically by the MCERTS-approved Aquamatic Aquacell Sampler, which with two self-emptying 4.5litre Collection Vessels makes it ideal for when sample shots are taken continually but are not always required for analysis. This enables Cerform to benefit from ongoing collection of daily composite samples, but without the requirement to dispose of the previous days samples.
Peter McHugh, Senior Engineer at Cerform, commented: “ For controlling effluent disposal costs and enhancing the high standards we seek across all aspects of our manufacturing, Aquamatic’s Wastewater Sampler is proving a very valuable addition”. |
