Description
Incorporated within the P2-COOLBOX is a high performance passive Sample Temperature Control system. This ensures that the collected samples are preserved at an optimal temperature (between 0°C and 5°C up to 5 days) whilst awaiting collection / inspection. This is particularly useful when sampling biologically active wastewater. Portable Samplers are ideal for sampling at multiple sampling points and / or for temporary compliance purposes.
The Aquacell P2-COOLBOX is a very practical solution when sample cooling is required and where there is no mains power supply available.

- Thick wall insulation combined with sealed ‘no-mess’ Cooling Elements provides for impressive sample temperature control performance. As the sample temperature control system is passive, and therefore does not require any electrical power, the P2-COOLBOX’s power source (normally an Integral Battery) is required only to power the Sampling Module and therefore maximises the operating period.
- Mains and / or Battery powered (Sampler module only as the cooling system requires no power).
- Front access to Sample Container without disturbing Sampler or Intake Hose.
- Multiple locking points – Separately lockable COOLBOX Base / Lid, Sampler Front Cover and Sampler Battery allowing for maximum flexibility when securing your Sampler
- Can be supplied with a Sample Temperature Monitoring option, with which the minimum, maximum, average and present sample temperatures can by monitored on the Samplers display.
- Can be fitted with a Data Connection facility, enabling the download of logged sample temperature data from the Sampler Module to a PC (or similar).
- Can be connected to, and controlled by, external equipment such as Flow Meters, pH Meters, PLCs etc. (requires the optional Ancillary Signal Connection).
- Can work with the optional Aquamatic Pressurised Pipeline Interface allowing for sampling from a pressurised wastewater source (requires the optional Pressurised Pipeline Connection).
